Works on Paper
Experimenting with abstract art began on paper. I found myself answering an email to find your “artistic voice” and the facilitator worked strictly on paper. I thought, I really don’t think it will look so I continued to work on canvas. I quickly realized that the exercises in the workshop were better suited for working on paper. The paper has become the foundation for my work as an artist. My go-to paper is BKF Rieves, I can work loosely and form layers of paint that create the structure I love!
