The Power of Red

This series, The Power of Red, was inspired by a group of paintings I created in 2021 entitled the Primary Series. As an abstract artist, my work is loosely structured and created intuitively, with a stream of consciousness as the source of inspiration and a muted color palette. Working in the Primary Series, I attempted a bolder color palette with a more defined structure. This led to the development of The Power of Red Series.

This series was composed of twelve 10×10 acrylic and mixed media paintings with the color Red as the centerpiece. The structure is well-defined. Creating this series with bold colors was empowering. The release date of the series was December 2021. It ran on my website, Instagram and facebook.
